There is over 80 little pieces to cut out, which isn't bad if you don't have trouble with your hands and don't try t do them all at once. But that wasn't even the bad part. The precut grooves for the fabric is to narrow for the really small pieces to fit into without causing the fabric next to it to come loose and the styrofoam will break off or sink in. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!

They are not difficult but they are beautiful. I wish I could purchase the boards only and my fabric at my local JoAnn's . ( I especially liked tha holiday free shipping.) I made a few changes in the fabric choices but my butterful in now hanging on my wall and I get my positive compliments .

I guess I didn't read the description well enough, I thought the kit was a butterfly pattern not a single use item piece. Just be sure to read all descriptions carefully.
