Not black
The background is not solid like it appears in picture. Description even says black when it is two shades of brown. (Black fabric for comparison)

Black is not black
Doesn't look like picture, the background is not solid black but has this weird brown grunge to it which makes the snowflakes much duller also. Very disappointed as I thought this would be great for a stack and wack quilt.

Great fabric they just sent me 2 yard sections : (
I wanted a full uncut 8 yards. I got 2 2 yard sections and one 4 yard section. I spent a fortune online, now I'll only shop in store for this reason.

The dark version is a splotchy BROWN, not black. This print on black would be awesome, but I cannot see me using it in brown. Returning.

Great pattern, hard to find
I had bought some Frozen curtains for my daughter’s room last year. They didn’t come with tie backs so I finally made some with this fabric. They turned out great! I used a blue fabric on the back side (also from JoAnn). I would recommend if you find this fabric in your store buying extra. I had to make a separate trip to a separate store an hour away to get the 1/4 of a yard worth of fabric to finish this project.

Background not solid
I bought these fabrics with great anticipation but they fall a little short. The flakes are beautiful and vibrant however the background is not solid. The background is more like a brushstroke or barnwood look. The lighter appears white with cream, the darker black with brownish gray.
Fabric is of good quality and color.

A bit disappointing...
The black background is very dull - not a true black. It makes the colored snowflakes appear not very bright. The whole affect is rather 'washed out' looking, not nearly as cheerful as it appeared on my monitor. Fabric is fine, just the coloring that is disappointing.
