Pretty but frays
Very pretty fabric. It frays very easily, so be sure to either zigzag all the edges before you wash, or maybe pink the edges...

Beautiful but delicate fabric
I saw this in person and even though I see mostly knit fabric I had to try it because it's so pretty! Upon reading the reviews after purchasing this fabric, I made sure to use a
microtex 60/08 needle to sew this. It definitely had snags that happened before sewing but the needle helped keep it from snagging while sewing. Definitely use clips, and often, instead of pins.

So beautiful, but hard to work with
I literally gasped when I saw this fabric in the store because it looked so stunning! I impulse bought some and then read the reviews about the issues with the white runs :(
I was as careful as possible but of course stuff happens and my blouse has the runs in it, and it just makes me a little sad because this fabric has so much potential!

Beautiful, but Delicate
I love this fabric, it's very soft, silky, beautiful finish, lightweight with a soft hand. I made a loose cardigan with it, very popular everywhere I go. My only complaint is, it runs VERY easily, so when I was working with it, the slightest provocation caused a long white run in my beautiful black fabric. If the tension was off just so, or even if I used a slightly dull pin, it would get an immediate run that I could do nothing about. You really have to baby it.

Mushrooms Can Do all that! Who knew!!!!
As usual my customer experience at this store is always awesome. It always starts as I enter the store with the cashiers, no matter how busy they are they always recognize me when I enter by saying Welcome to JoAnns, I get so excited. Then as I prowl with great expectations, I find the gems of the day, notice I said GEMS of the day. I head to the cutting counter and always greeted with a warm Hello how are you? How May I assist you today. No matter how large the stack is the Team Members tone never changes. Those girls have the patience of God. I love each and every one of them for all that they do and tolerate from the not so happy people that have nothing to do but whine. Okay back to the fabric it is awesome made a Jacket and a pair of Wide leg pants to wear to a Gala. The fabric played nicely. So easy to sew on and no issues at all. Very yummy!!!!!!

Snags and runs!
The look and the feel of the fabric is great. When prepping my fabric for the pattern, I noticed some little snags like another reviewer mentioned, so I made sure to be extra careful with my pins. I even switched to clips instead. But the second I took a test piece to the machine with a brand new needle, the fabric just ripped to shreds with snags and runs every time the needle made a stitch. I’m going to the store tomorrow to see if I can fight for a refund on cut fabric. I’m so angry about this. Avoid this fabric at all costs.
