- Nine skeins Bernat® Blanket™ yarn, smoky green
- U.S. size L/11 crochet hook (or size needed to obtain gauge)
- MEASUREMENTS: Approx 49"x 60"
- GAUGE: 7 sts and 8 rows = 4" in pat.
DIRECTIONS:
BLANKET:NOTE: Worked over multiple of 3 ch.
Ch 87.
1st row: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of chain. Turn. 86 sc.
2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc across. Turn.
3rd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each of first 2 sc. 1 trfp around next sc 2 rows below (1st row). Skip unworked sc. *1 sc in each of next 2 sc. 1 trfp around next sc 2 rows below (1st row). Skip unworked sc. Rep from * to last 2 sc. 1 sc in each of last 2 sc. Turn.
4th row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each st across. Turn.
5th row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each of first 2 sc. 1 trfp around next trfp 2 rows below (3rd row). Skip unworked sc. *1 sc in each of next 2 sc. 1 trfp around next sc 2 rows below (3rd row). Skip unworked sc. Rep from * to last 2 sc. 1 sc in each of last 2 sc. Turn.
Rep 4th and 5th rows until Blanket measures 59 1/2", ending on a 5th row.
Next row: (WS). Ch 1. 1 sc in each of first 2 sc. 1 scbp around next trfp 2 rows below (3rd row). Skip unworked sc. *1 sc in each of next 2 sc. 1 scbp around next sc 2 rows below (3rd row). Skip unworked sc. Rep from * to last 2 sc. 1 sc in each of last 2 sc. Turn.
Fasten off.
TASSELS (make 20):
Wind yarn around a piece of cardboard 5" wide 20 times. Tie through loops securely at one end. Cut across other end. Wrap yarn 6 times around Tassel 1 1/2" down from tied end. Fasten securely. Sew Tassels to every 3rd trfp ridge along top and bottom edges of Blanket having 1 tassel in both first and last trfp ridges.
