mosaic blanket ombre from
trying out this new ombre in with the free inset mosaic blanket pattern , its working out great , and loving how it wips up so fast , the cakes are wonderful pulling from the center it keeps going smooth while crocheting no pulling out yarn as it glides out with ease as you crochet , it would be awsome if they did this with all their blanket yarns. but not liking the knotted joins so i cant give it a five star because of that, but i do hope yarninspirations keeps this ombre cake series in ombre running as well as adding new color ways down the road . <img src="blob:chrome-untrusted://media-app/c1072c0d-55e8-48af-921f-f77c7e90369d" alt="IMG_20240507_110715574.jpg"/>

Smooth to work with
I love this yarn. I love knitting with it however there are a lot of knots and breaks and I have made 3 Afghans with it. I wish there weren’t so many breaks. I purchase this yarn so I don’t have to switch yarns.

disappointed in the yarn this time
I bought this as I have made several blankets from the other ombre colors and everybody wants one now - however with the eggplant Ombre, I found more than 4 or 5 knots in the two cakes that I bought and the Ombre is not graduated but a harsh cut from one color to the next and they are not properly shade graduated - was this a bad batch as I notice someone else had a similar complaint about the knots - I want to love it... but Im having a hard time with this one!

Lovely yarn! Beautiful colors!
Bernat is always a joy to work with. The ombré had a beautiful striping and the colors were gorgeous. I did have trouble finding the quantity that I needed but ultimately was able to secure enough skeins to complete my project.

I really like this yarn but…
I buy self striping yarn to avoid weaving in so many ends. But lately every skein of this yarn has multiple knots that have to be cut out. This defeats the purpose.

It takes a lot
I love love LOVE this yarn. I’m making a blanket for my daughter that’s about to be born, I originally bought 3, and the size I’m making this blanket would fit a twin bed. I did like 100 rows. So to make a full blanket (to fit a twin bed I guess) I’m thinking 8 or 9 bundles.
