SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 9" x 15" cloche
- 10" terra cotta saucer
- Preserved moss sheet
- Assorted moss
- Butterfly of choice
- Plants of choice
- Enamel paint: brown and green
- Small sponge or foam brush
- Floral foam
- Hot glue & glue gun
- Serrated knife
DIRECTIONS:
1. Turn the saucer upside down and sponge on green and brown paint and let dry.
2. Cut a section of floral foam about 1-1/2" high x 2-1/2" wide. Glue to the center of the saucer.
3. Cover saucer with preserved moss.
4. Cut sections of ferns and green plants and push down into the foam.
5. Arrange some assorted mosses around the plants.
6. Add a butterfly by wrapping wire around a section of a stem or a stick and insert into the foam.
7. Place cloche over the arrangement.
Small Terrariums
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 5" x 7" cloche
- 6" dark basalt terra cotta saucer
- Black sand
- Natural sand
- Assorted shells
- Small butterflies of choice
- Plants of choice
- Floral foam
- Hot glue & glue sticks
- Serrated knife
- Scissors
DIRECTIONS:
1. Cut a 1" x 1" section of floral foam and glue to the center of the saucer.
2. Use the knife to taper the edges of the foam.
3. Pour sand into the saucer.
4. Cover the foam with a section of moss.
5. Select sections of green plants and push down into the foam.
6. Add some small shells, assorted mosses or small butterflies of choice.
7. Place cloche over the arrangement.
