Great stitch definition
I purchased Aunt Lydia’s Fashion 3 a few weeks ago. Color was as described and stitch definition was perfect. I made a small crochet bag. Nice to crochet with and no splitting.Superb crochet cotton.

Not size 3!!
This yarn is very nice but it is not weight 3 Light, like the description says. This is size 1 Super Fine. It’s pretty but not what I expected.

Inaccurate yarn size description
The Joann website description says this yarn is size 3 (which would be DK weight), but it is not. Confusingly, Aunt Lydia's Fashion 3 is size 1 (super fine). But the online photos do not show the part of the label that says what size it actually is, and the written description is flat-out wrong.
To make matters worse, when I ordered three of these online for store curbside pickup, the store staff packed for me two of Fashion 3 (size 1, two sizes two small for my project) and one of Aunt Lydia's Classic 10 (not remotely what I ordered, and size 0, lace weight, even more sizes too small for my project). I can't make what I planned to make with these. I will be returning all of them.
And there is no way to tell from the online description or photos what size this thread actually is. If you're planning to follow a particular pattern, don't order this online.
