SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Pre-made purchased white cotton mask
- Rit® Dye More synthetic dye, chocolate brown
- Fabri-Tac fabric adhesive
- Large red pom pom for nose
- Faux fur trim
- Basic sewing supplies
DIRECTIONS:
- Dye mask using Rit dye following directions on the bottle, making sure to move adjustable beads to dye the ties completely. Let dry. Clip threads on the side of the mask to release bottom pleat. Cut 1 piece of fur trim 1 1/4"x 8".
- When cutting fur trim, cut from the back side of the fabric carefully so as not to trim the fur on the front.
- Pin and sew to the bottom edge of the mask. Cut a second piece of fur 1"x 8". Pin and sew just above the fur trim along the folded edge of the pleat of the mask. Re-pleat and sew sides of mask.
- Glue red pom pom to middle of mask for the nose with Fabri-Tac glue.
