Needs work.
The base/tri-pod for this product is decent. The problem is the shelf or tray that your canvas/work sits on is so poorly designed that it's barely useable if usable at all. The legs of the tripod need to be at a specific angle for the holes in the tray to align with the screws that they rest on. There's a slot that's present for added stability in the center, but it gets in the way more than anything, and is also where they tied the strap. Cannot recommend until they change the faults or unless you have a 3d printer on hand and make your own tray.

Nice travel easel

Waiting for Christmas!
I purchased this easel as a Christmas gift for my daughter. It arrived safely, no signs of rough travels. It is in a smaller box than I expected. I am eagerly awaiting Christmas to have her open it and try it out.
