- Simplicity® Pattern 81/2
- Embroidered lace fabric
- Lining to match
- Invisible zipper
- Basic sewing supplies
- Sewing machine
- Pattern weights
DIRECTIONS:
- Follow pattern instructions for sewing.
- Use 5/8" seams unless stated.
- Do not hem scalloped edge. Use scalloped edge as finished length.
JOANN Hacks:
- Cut lace overlay to be length of skirt. Use scalloped edge as finished length.
- Cut along scalloped edge with embroidery scissors to remove excess netting.
- Bodice - Cut additional layer of lining as backing for lace. Stitch lining together with lace and sew as one piece.
- Carefully eliminate any beading that would get caught in seams prior to sewing.
