Loved how thick and glassey it sprayed on!!

Spray tip on fusion cans faulty
I have bought made spray paint cans for my resin project and the Krylon Fusion spray stops working after a few uses. I have to switch tips from other cans until I find one that works and when they all stop working I waste my spray and money.

Question
Not a review, but a question. I make 3D Origami baskets. They are made of folded paper. Lots of colors, I am looking for a product to seal the inside and outside of the baskets to make them water resistant or water proof. I have been researching and know epoxy dries very hard. I want a hard clear surface finish. But epoxy requires mixing and more work. Does this product finish hard? I think I read that is is flexable... I don't want that. Thank you for your response?

Hated it!
Hated it. It ruined my project. I used it to seal a silver metallic paint and it made it look like a very dull gray.

Great for Sealing Pinball Backglass
So I learned this stuff IS the standard for sealing old flaking pinball backglass art. Enter my recent 1968 Paul Bunyan backglass that was almost mint, but definitely starting to give in to Father Time. I was nervous as heck even moving it out to the deck. For sure couldn’t take the risk of properly prepping the surface for risk of flaking more paint (maybe my only time skipping this step).
Sprayed two light coats 12” away that were 30 minutes apart (rotates 90 degrees for 2nd coat). Fairly low humidity day and near the bottom temp range at 55F. Dried beautifully and clear. And that beautiful silk screened paint from 1968 is now safely sealed off from further damage. I’ll pull out the air brush tomorrow and touch up the 8-10 small flaked areas, and then give it another 2 coats of Triple Coat. Will be all done after that, great product for the right uses.
I probably would not use this to coat finished wood or something where a really uniform and even coat is desired. For dealing pinball backglass, that’s not necessary as it’s on the backside and hidden. It does indeed lay down thick as advertised.

Works great on pinball machines!
I use it on pinball machine backglasses to preserve the flaking paint. I won’t use anything else but this stuff. I love it!

Know What You're Doing First
I use products like these commercially so I have some pretty good experience with finishes. Not every finish works for every application. You should ALWAYS test a small inconspicuous area first to make sure you get the results you want. Krylon Triple Thick is an amazing product when used properly. We make wood furniture and signage, and I used to spend days coating and recoating wood pieces, and waiting for them to dry in between coats. With Triple Thick I can coat twice in one day, and the next day it's ready to go. I sympathize if you've had bad results and have a ruined project, but with a little care on your part it could've been prevented.

Very shiny and smooth finish
I really like this product. I applied a few coats to my wood project and it turned out beautifully. It's a very glossy finish. Most of it has a very smooth feel, like glass. There are a few rough spots, though; despite how many coats I applied. I'm not sure if it's the product (not applying enough coats to the wood) or if I didn't sand the wood smooth enough. Despite this, I'm still very satisfied with this spray. I will definitely use it again.
